    butterfly net bags

    Produced in our workshop these bags are made of resistant polyester fabric mesh and cotton border for the frame available in 3 colours black white and olive green

    These bags are supplied in various sizes as for our frames which are 30-38-40-50-60cm

    The special colours we chosed, after many different choices of black-green and white doesn't allow the brightness of the sun to mix up the real color of the butterfly you just collected, this feature allows you to see clearly through the specimen before you decide to kill it and keep or decide to leave it alive.

    Here you can chose your frames in various sizes 30- 40-50-60cm diameter with hollow stainless steel tube frame and 38cm with full steel pipe frame

    We chosed to add this 38cm as it is cheaper than 40cm hollow frame but it has almost the same size of a 40cm just you spend less money buying this.

    All our frames are foldable with 8mm (M8 ) thread screw that can fit on all our poles sizes

    All these butterfly, sweeping handles and poles are produced in our workshop

    We supply two different closed length sizes poles , one is 38cm, 65 – 110 – 200cm total length ,ultralight fiberglass ultrashort but being ultralight it is for light uses only ( as well it is resistant but not like steel.. )

    The other 56cm closed length poles 100 – 140 – 220 – 330cm total length are made of durable, reinforced fiberglass, stronger and as well slighlty heavier than the previous ones but at least you can almost abuse of their strength.

  • micro-nets ( special...

    These small but strong micro-nets are produced in our workshop.

    Made of light fiberglass, these poles are telescopic and with a short closed length they are unique having a very small frame made of stainless steel of 13cm diameter usefull in all those days when you can hardly manage to get beetles on stacks ( Buprestidae . Cerambycidae and so on ) with a normal net

    These are also perfect for catch Cicindela in places where rocks don't allow you a normal size net. For catching flying beetles on the sand or for catching beetles walking on trees ( a normal net is too large to get into the leafs and barks )

    We firstly created the smaller size of 70cm for the "Honeydew" hunt on leafs as we re-created the Honeydew artificially but with natural ingredients for human consumption in different tastes

    We also produce and sell it , you can read more about it in the "honeydew" section.

    Then other sizes such as 110cm an d 140cm have been conceived for the other hunting ways

    All the micro-nets have choice of 2 different colours of mesh bag in white or clear brown.

  • U-type tree bark net

    These nets are also produced in our workshop

    Made of resistant polyester fabric mesh net and cotton neckband, anodixed steel frame and a 12cm wooden handle, it can be unscrewed and it takes half space when folded.

    Ideal tool for collecting beetles next to trees or under barks, the upper part is soft enough to take the round shape of a tree , this way you will not lose any beetle when you hunt on barks

    sweeping nets cloth bags

    All these sweeping cloth bags are produced in our workshop

    These cloth bags are made of resistant cloth and polyetilene fabric border

    We supply two different sizes , one fits on 30cm frame the larger one fits on both 35-38cm frames

    We chosed to add this 38cm full steel frame as it is cheaper than 35cm hollow frame but we made it fit in the same bag used with 35cm hollow frame

    The 38cm cloth bag also fits in our new teardrop frame

    When you order you know that they both perfectly fit on the bigger just for you to spend less money buying this frame

    sweeping nets double bag

    All these double sweeping bag with stainless steel rings are produced in our workshop

    Bags are made of polyetilene fabric resistant to scratches on barks, rocks and strong plants , inside it there is a net bag with a fine resistant mesh and stainless steel rings on the frame

    These bags fit on both 35-38 frames

  • entomological litter...

    A classical tool for sifting forest soil, musk and leafs before placing the ground in winkler xeroeclector or berlese selector for searching beetles.

    This litter reducer has been produced with very durable materials and tested in our workshop this is not an industrial one , also you have the choice of two different steel mesh sizes, 6mm  8mm or 10mm and there are also 2 bags for sifted soil included.

    It also has a usefull drawstring on bottom to seal it while you are sifting the material before you put it in the bags.

    TOTALLY FOLDABLE IN 25x 25 x 5 cm

  • Xeroeclector WINKLER...

    Produced in our workshop on the basis of the classical one it has been improved a little based on our and others knowledges we re-designed it

    We sell it complete included of container and 4 open top mesh bags 28 x 34cm with retaining hooks to be filled of sifted ground or other litter ,waiting to release beetles .

    Upper parts is made of strong cotton fabric able to evaporate the humidity of the ground we put into the bags , conical bottom is not cotton as for all the industrial ones it is made of a smooth and resistant polyester fabric which doesn't allow the beetles to cling on it once they fall from the bags

    Between the upper part and conical part on bottom there are two aluminum frames to help keeping open the bag and on which you also hang the sifting bags.

    We also improved the holding way on top with a 2 ways drawstring which , once pulled almost seal and close the top ( you simply must roll up and tie the cords after ) connected to it , internally there are 2 more cords and a hook to hang it on place.

    We also changed the capacity ( 300ml ) and type of collecting container no more bottles with small neck not able to collect all beetles ( when half of the beetles are dead around the neck of it and unusable .

    These containers so conceived for shape and the kind of retainer for this containers allows all the beetles to get into the preservant fluid and they will all be perfectly preserved for study and preparation

    We also added 4 retainer each bag made of soft anodized steel wire , once you have put the ground into the bags put these and fold them firmly , this way the ground will not fall all down on the bottom of the bags but will stay with the same thickness for all the length of it

    We do also sell spare bags for it separately zipped and non zipped bags in different mesh sizes 2mm and 4mm to chose from

    Produced in our workshop on the basis of the classical one it has been improved a little based on our and others knowledges we re-designed it

    We sell it complete included of container and mesh tray with 2mm or 4mm stainless steel net to be filled of sifted ground or other litter ,waiting to release beetles , this mesh tray also has an handle, you can remove it simply leaving the cloth part on place.

    Upper parts is made of strong Polyester mesh fabric able to evaporate the humidity of the soil , conical bottom is made of a smooth and resistant polyester fabric which doesn't allow the beetles to cling on it once they fall from the bags

    Ultrafine tips allows you to softly spread beetles legs and butteflies wings

    The 16cm tooted tweezers are useful to place short pins in your entomological boxes , very long 27cm for reaching beetles in thorny places between rocks or where you cannot reach them with bare fingers.

    Bigger ones 38cm and 45cm mostly used for big Spiders Reptiles and Amphibians.

    These are the killing fluids commonly used in fields, the better choices for killing insects keeping unchanged colours of beetles mantaining their articulations soft to be prepared in the best way

    In this file you can see lots of sizes and shapes of glassine bags, triangle and rectangular shaped

    the envelopes ( bags ) are ready to use , the other papillotes ( triangle ) have to be fold but you just need some seconds to make them and these are very cheap

    Here you can also find a leatherette belt bag able to contain many envelopes during hunting sessions, you will always have comfortable access to place into it every new specimen collected .

  • cork granulate

    Washed chipped corks

    Useful for killing jars and terrarium for reptiles and for breeding alive beetles in different sizes

    When you are hunting for beetles the best way to safely kill them is using killing agents suck as Ammonia or Ethyl Acetate , these fluids need a substrate on which you drop them this can be drying paper or cork

    NO PLANTS HAVE BEEN PEELED OFF TO PRODUCE THIS CORK

    This special cork comes from ECO-factories that recicle old cork stoppers , they grind them , wash and sterilize them and supply us this product in various sizes.

    The smaller sizes 1-2mm and 3-4mm are suitable for small and medium size beetles , the bigger 5-8mm are very good for big beetles and mostly used for terrariums , you can wash this cork used as terrarium as it dries fast and you can keep it long time .

    Mosquito mesh hats to avoid mosquitos, vasps and other dangerous and annoying insects specially if you are allergic to some of them these hats keep them out of your face

    Totally foldable it keeps just 2 centimeters in heigth   Size: 30cm diam.

    With these Gaiters applied on your shoes you can avoid tick bites which are very dangerous .
